<p align=”justify”>Donald Lavigne is a Shareholder and one of Salehi Boyer Lavigne Lombana’s Founders. His practice includes First-Party Property, Construction Defect claims, Bad Faith, General Business Litigation and Criminal Defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Donald was a Partner at a statewide, full service law firm, where he handled various types of insurance defense litigation, First-Party Property defense, Third-Party Liability, General Liability, and Insurance Fraud Investigations.
Donald earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, from the University of Florida focusing on American Political History. He then went on to obtain his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami, School of Law. During law school, Donald worked as a clerk to the Honorable Miguel De La O of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. He also worked for a boutique law firm specializing in General Liability, Medical Malpractice, Wrongful Death, Negligent Security, Slip, Trip and Fall Liability, Automobile Liability, Construction Defects, Products Liability, and Workers’ Compensation.
Donald also worked with the University of Miami Health Rights Clinic, where he helped secure social security benefits, Medicare, Medicaid and United States Citizenship for several indigent individuals in Miami. In addition, he worked with the University of Miami Innocence Clinic, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and has provided pro bono legal assistance for indigent homeowners in Dade County. Donald is also a Certified Water Damage Restoration Technician, accredited by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC). </p>
