Scott Boyer is a Shareholder and one of Salehi Boyer Lavigne Lombana’s Founders. His practice includes Insurance and General Liability, including Premises Liability, First-Party Property Insurance, Negligent Security, Product Liability, Bad Faith, Wrongful Death, Automobile Negligence, and Personal Injury Protection. Scott has significant and successful civil trial experience, having tried numerous cases to verdict.
Prior to joining the firm, Scott worked as a Partner at a statewide, full-service law firm, where he handled various types of insurance defense litigation, including First-Party Insurance and Third-Party Liability cases. Scott has also previously served as in-house counsel for a large insurance company handling automobile-related lawsuits, including bodily injury, personal injury protection, property damage, uninsured motorist, and subrogation matters from inception through trial.
An avid educator, Scott worked as a full-time lecturer at the State University of New York, teaching classes in Argumentation, Negotiation, and Public Speaking. While teaching Scott served as Faculty Advisor for the SUNY Mock Trial Team.
Prior to graduating, cum laude, from University of Florida Law School in 2008, Scott was a SAG Actor in Los Angeles for several years. He went on to become a copywriter for a production company, writing the scripts for full-length documentaries, episodic television series and advertisements for some of the most prominent corporations in the country. Scott is also a published children’s book author, having traveled extensively doing readings and presentations throughout the United States.
Scott is also a Certified Water Damage Restoration Technician, accredited by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC).
