Successfully defended the Board of Trustees of the Pension Fund for the Firefighters and Police Officer in the City of Tampa in a breach of contract matter. Plaintiff claimed millions of dollars in damages stemming from the administration of City Pension Fund. The lawsuit was eventually settled, after litigation, for a nominal amount.
Successfully prevailed on a Motion for Summary Judgement in Federal Court on behalf of Condominium Association. The Association was facing claims of wrongful termination of employment, defamation, violation of Fair Housing Act, and six-figure damages for breach of contract.
Successfully defended a Condominium Association in Federal Court against alleged violations of Florida Civil Rights Act stemming from claims that Plaintiff was treated differently than other potential property purchasers due to nationality.
Successfully obtained a Summary Judgment, as well as monetary sanctions, on behalf of an apartment complex, in a Negligent Security action for wrongful death damages, where a resident was shot inside his own apartment.
Achieved a nominal settlement in a Premises Liability action where the Plaintiff claimed a head injury at a hotel resort and demanded millions of dollars in damages.
Obtained a Motion for Summary Judgment in a property damage case involving misrepresentations on application of insurance.
Obtained a large monetary judgment against a Defendant for a fraudulent insurance scheme, after suing the Insured for misrepresentations made on the recorded statement, application misrepresentation, and intentionally defrauding the insurance carrier.
